RECYCLABLE STRAWS

Timber and Wood straws are 100%
Recyclable Straws

One of the largest steps on our journey to zero carbon and zero waste is choosing timber as our straw material because timber accounts for most of our recyclable straws footprint.

Recycling converts used timber straws into composite timber and then into new products and that's called upcycling for a circular economy.

CIRCULAR ECONOMY
We are part of the circular economy with products that help reduce waste and pollution but also keeps timber straws in use as different products.

GREENHOUSE GAS
Carbon dioxide (CO2) is the primary greenhouse gas.

Every timber and wood straw has approximately 1.8 times its dry weight of carbon dioxide (CO2) taken out of the atmosphere by the original tree.

(Carbon Sequestration or Bio-sequestration).

RECYCLE TO UPCYCLE
We upcycle timber and wood straws into rich artistic modern art, tough interlocking bedroom bookcases, sleek interlocking work from home (WFH) desks, expandable interlocking drink coasters and more.

HOW WE UPCYCLE
Straws collected from you.
Delivered to our rejuvenation plant.
Straws are disinfected and cleaned.
Sorted into sizes.
Dipped in non-toxic water-based resin.
Gives a protective coating.
200 C (390 F) high temperature dried.
Moisture content achieved.
Straws separated.
Placed in product jigs.
Machine, heat compressed together.
Resin curing achieved.
Sanded and cut to size.
Recycled into pristine reusable composite timber.
